Sako, the world-renowned manufacturer of rifles and ammunition, has unveiled a brand new rifle!
With the launch of this new family of rifles, Sako has produced a gun which, it says, will further enhance your shooting experience.
Key features include a new mounting system, either split picatinny or 17mm Tikka mount, double plunger extraction, a bolt-assist plunger, adjustable trigger position, easy adjust trigger weight and twist rates designed to assist with lead-free ammunition.
The Finnish manufacturer says it is refining the high-end product category in the bolt-action rifles for passionate outdoorsmen and hunters by introducing Sako 90 product family; reborn to enhance your senses.
The Sako 90 rifle family builds on the strong 25 years of recent success of the company and brand in this sector – a journey that started with the legendary Sako 75 family and continued with the Sako 85.
The Sako 90 series comprises seven distinctively designed rifle models that are carefully tailored for mountain and backcountry hunting as well as for traditional game hunting disciplines.
Models include three in wood – the classic Hunter, a central European style wooden stock version called the Bavarian and the Varmint, featuring a tough laminate stock with fluted stainless varmint barrel.
Synthetic models include the Adventure – a tough and light synthetic stock with traditional blue barrel, replacing the Finnlight II, the Peak – an ultralight, beautiful carbon stock with stainless barrel replacing the Carbon Light and the Quest, with a carbon stock and enhanced ergonomic adjustment, replacing the Carbon Wolf.
Both the Peak and Quest will also be available as ‘Ultra’ models with a carbon barrel.
