We predict that The Royal Armouries stand at The National Shooting Show will be well-visited. Certainly one to have a look at if you’re interested in history.
The Royal Armouries is the world’s oldest museum, caring for one of the largest collections of arms and armour in the world. It has a collection of more than 75,000 objects, displayed and housed in its historical home at the Tower of London, at the Royal Armouries Museum and National Firearms Centre in Leeds, and Fort Nelson, Portsmouth.

The collections tell compelling narratives about human endeavour and spark dialogue about what divides us, what unites us, and how, together, we share the great stories of human history. The Royal Armouries do this through conserving and managing the objects in its care, acquisitions, scholarship and interpreting the collection.
Engagement with visitors is ensured through a vibrant programme of exhibitions, events, learning and outreach. Over Easter there’s even a jousting tournament with teams from the UK, France and Italy competing!
A visit to the stand will certainly make history come alive and the exhibitors will be able to answer your questions.
The teams will be bringing an interesting section of guns along with them which will certainly provoke discussion.
